Cosentino’s Quest to Redefine Wellness in the Living Space Materialises at Downtown Design

The innovators in architectural surfaces showcase two pioneering projects, challenging design conventions and urging us to reconsider the bathroom as a sanctuary where art, design, and self-love converge.

Cosentino, a leading innovator in architectural surfaces, unveiled two groundbreaking projects at this year’s Downtown Design, challenging the boundaries of comfort and wellness in the lived environment. Launched in tandem with their newly introduced C-Bath concept, Cosentino aims to reestablish the bathroom as a destination for well-being and comfort: “It’s a concept that interprets the bathroom as a personal sanctuary, where art and design might merge,” suggests Eddy Abou Khalil, Cosentino’s regional director for the Middle East and India.

A regular presence at Downtown Design, Cosentino is known for their installations realised in collaboration with major design innovators. This year, they joined forces with the award-winning interior design firm Kristina Zanic Consultants, collaborating on an immersive installation entitled Balneum, which translates to ‘bath’ from Latin.
