Accor’s hotel-meets-office Dubai HQ reflects group’s lifestyle prowess

Accor continues to strengthen its luxury lifestyle portfolio. Acquistion of Fairmont and Raffles in 2015 gave the French hotel giant a stake in classical luxury, while a more recent merger with Ennismore gave the group strong foothold in the burgeoning experiential lifestyle segment.

The group has made its intentions clear recently: It intends to be the leader in luxury and in lifestyle. At the end of 2021, the group’s chief development officer Agnes Rouqefort, told Hotelier Middle East the final piece of that puzzle was the new Emblems Collection, a means for Accor to move into independent luxury.

Accor’s goal extends so far that now its regional HQ in Dubai reflects that same vision. Created by Kristina Zanic Consultants, the office in Dubai Media City serves as a reflection of “luxury experience of an Accor hotel brand,” according to Accor.
